Westgate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021   

This 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is from the tiny Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA. 100% from the famed Grassini Family Vineyard in Santa Ynez, 66% New French Oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Planted in 2002, these vines have established themselves over the past 20 years in calcium rich soils, sandy gravel, ribbons of clay, chert and serpentine rocks. Classic Cabernet aromatics of tobacco, black pepper, leather and spices - On the pallet dark fruit such as dried blackberry and cassis with a nice array supporting tannin.
